Manufactured with high-quality fiberglass, aluminium, and high-impact ABS composite LEVEL5 Skimming Blade and Compound Roller Extendable Handles offer lightweight handling while maintaining rigidity and durability. The most popular handle size for both skimming blades and compound rollers is the medium (37-63") handle because it can be used for a variety of wall and ceiling finishing applications. The long-length (48-87") extendable handle for both tools is a great option for greater comfort and reach when applying mud on higher ceilings and elevated wall spaces.

When using a skimming blade, an adapter is required. There are two adapter choices depending on whether you are using an aluminum body or a composite body skimming blade. However, the attachment of a compound roller can be accomplished without the need for an adapter.

I’m not sure if this kind of tool was available last time I did any drywall work (late 90s). I’d consider myself a capable owner (make my own cabinets and doors, railings, column wraps, etc). I had a wall at a rental that was an absolute mess from the supposed professional contractor that had done repairs, so bad I knew after I patched it I’d better skim it back to health. I was prepared for my first time to be something nearing a disastrous learning experience. I was *shocked* at how quick and easy it was to get this wall looking like new drywall with just a handful of liftoffs to deal with later. No exaggeration it took about 15-20 minutes to thin the compound and skim this wall. I know from the past it would have taken me hours and lots of profanity with wide taping knives. These things are a dream to use. I can only imagine how nice it’d look in a pro’s hands.

There still makes it very easy and it looks very nice when you’re finished with the job

Sturdy. I have many years in drywall but my job got changed since on this project to hanging now so haven’t used it but looks like nice quality when I do! Just being honest!
