For its premium stainless steel hand tools, specifically its one-piece welded joint knives and all stainless steel taping and joint knives with soft grip handles, LEVEL5 Tools, LLC. ("LEVEL5") offers a Lifetime warranty to the original owner that these products will be free from defects in material and function. This warranty is valid only in the USA, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe. A one (1) year warranty applies in all other countries/markets.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • The Warranty applies to the original owner and is not transferable.
  • The Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the product, and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from its use.
  • The Warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, negligence, fire, theft, loss or intentional damage.
  • All shipments to the LEVEL5 facility must be freight paid. LEVEL5 reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace any product covered under the Warranty. Discontinued products may be replaced with newer models when necessary.

I picked up this bad boy for my Blackstone griddle. Boy Howdy, this lil feller checks all the boxes! It's sturdy enough to scrape the griddle, yet has a nice fine edge that'll get right up under a smash burger or some scrambled eggie-weggs. If you like to do some griddlin' then you ought to get you one of these baddies!

This is as high quality as I've ever seen, and I've bought more than a few taping knives. The handle is contoured to fit my hand, and the rubber is grippy. The edge of the blade is slightly tapered... almost rounded at both the edge and the corners. It's like it's been used for a couple of hundred hours. It has a good amount of flex in it, like a blue carbon steel blade, but it won't rust. I laid down a room's worth of tape with this knife, and not one snag, including corner tapes. No other knife I've purchased and used was this smooth when brand new. The 'hammer' end is tapered so you won't rip any paper if you use it to set a nail, and there's a big hole to hang it if that's your thing. Highly recommended.

I don’t write many reviews because most products are just average. I recently learned to drywall and my first knife came with the small pail of pre-mixed compound. I was able to produce decent results but it required more work (passes and sanding). I figured that I should upgrade to a better knife and boy am I pleased with the results from this 6” level 5. It is soooo much easier to feather out and produce results that barely need sanding. I am simply amazed at the results and wish I had this from the start.
